Photography: Diptychs, Triptychs, Quads, Essays, & Words.
Largely shot on film-stocks that look as though
they’ve been sitting on warehouse shelves, and with
camera’s saved from decades of neglect in the bottom
of flea market junk crates, Spy’s photographs defy
the marriage of space and time by disjointing the present
from now. Anachronistic technologies allow her to create
scenes from a dream that is the real world, with snapshots
as fine art portraiture.
